An Ethical Cat Breeder
Coastal Maine Kittens was born out of our love for the Persian and Exotic cat breeds. Our mission is to create beautiful, happy, and healthy kittens that will provide a lifetime of love to their new families. We deeply respect the breed standard and go above and beyond the basics with extensive DNA testing and thorough pre- and postnatal veterinary care for our kittens and Queens. Our cattery practices include meticulous sanitation, feeding cats and kittens of all ages with top quality foods, and thoughtful socialization. Our own experience in searching for the perfect cat has shaped our business model. We remember what it was like trying to narrow down the perfect cat breed for our family, and then trying to communicate with breeders and find a cat. We understand the difficulties clients can face in finding a knowledgeable, ethical, and trustworthy breeder. We want the process of finding your kitten to be one filled with joy, not stress, and we are honored for the opportunity to work with you.
As a responsible Cat Breeder, we carefully screen potential owners to make sure they understand exactly what is required when it comes to taking care of these animals. OUR MALES
Breeding Perfection
PUMPKIN
Pumpkin is our beautiful black smoke Persian male. He has an incredible personality and he boasts a luxurious coat and beautiful copper eyes. Our small cattery size allows us to live day to day with both our males and females, as well as our kittens. In larger catteries this is not always possible, and many studs live the majority of their lives in cages or quite isolated from daily activities with their owners. This allows our animals freedom and the least amount of stress.
PRINCE
Prince is our beautiful cream Persian, affectionately known as “Uncle Prince” around here. You can find him keeping a watchful eye on the kittens, playing with our pugs- yes, really! - or snuggling up wherever his humans are. He is an absolute lover. Prince has the same parents as Pumpkin, so he provides a second glancr at the genetics in our program.
OUR GORGEOUS GIRLS
DUCHESS
Duchess is our gorgeous cream tabby and white exotic short haired Queen. She is an incredible mother and an incredible pet. She is a gentle, loving, affectionate girl who is unbelievably attentive to her kittens. We are so lucky to have Duchess.
CZARINA ANASTASIA
Czarina Anastasia is the newest member of our family ❤️ We are very excited to have her here with us and are loving the precious time we have raising her here in our home before she becomes a mother- more than a year away. She and all of our cats are cherished family members who live our daily lives with us each day.
